Lolita : Style Hello!! My name is Grace, and in AP Lit. and Composition, we're reading books of our own choosing (but they have to be books that were influential and basically milestones in literature), and I'm really excited about this unit because I get to not only read a book that I picked myself and write about it, but I also get to share what I'm learning with everyone else. I'm going to be blogging about Lolita , written by Vladimir Nabokov. (Side note: When I first told my mom that I was going to be reading Lolita , she was flabbergasted and a little concerned. So, that's basically how this is going to go). Before I even start talking about the book, I think it's pretty important to note that this book is loosely based on a true story.
